Established in 2012 by Belgian collector Hubert Bonnet, Fondation CAB in Brussels is a non- profit space dedicated to the promotion of Belgian and international minimalist and conceptual art through a dynamic programme of exhibitions and events. Housed in a striking 1930s Art Deco-style warehouse, built for the coal mining industry, Fondation CAB’s exhibition space offers visitors a unique environment to experience art.
OPENING HOURS: Wednesday – Saturday 12 – 18pm Fondation CAB is delighted to present Along the Way, a solo exhibition dedicated to British artist Richard Long and the first in Belgium in over forty years.
Fondation CAB is delighted to present The Brutal Play, a group exhibition curated by Matthieu Poirier which brings together sculptural works by various artists spanning the constructivist era, 1960s minimalism and the present day.
The upcoming exhibition at CAB departs from the climate of reconstruction that marked Post-WWII Europe; the context in which Jean Prouvé conceived his Demountable House 6×6 as a temporary refuge for people who had lost their homes during the war, in order to sustain them with a shelter while rebuilding their lives.
